'SO YOU WANT TO OPEN A COFFEE SHOP?"

 

As part of our Summer long OSO Coffee education series, we're adding a more intense conference style workshop for those of you with an interest in starting YOUR OWN COFFEE CART OR COFFEE SHOP BUSINESS.  On a regular basis we talk with customers who have an interest in stepping into the coffee industry, and this workshop is designed to answer all of your industry questions and "count the costs" of such an endeavor.

This workshop will provide an enormous amount of industry information that will better equip you as you ponder with this desire to open a coffee cart or open a brick and mortar.  In addition, we can offer more personal consultation if you do decide to take the next step.  â€‹â€‹

HOST:  HECTOR GARCIA

Hector Garcia is the creator of CAFE CON LECHE and owner / founder of OSO Coffee Co.   OSO Is located in Houston's Second Ward, also known as the East End.  Hector founded the OSO brand in 2019 and remodeled a small bungalow on Navigation blvd to become OSO's first brick and mortar.  

​

Before coffee, Hector founded Neue Creative, a local design and brand agency, which he still operates today.  Hector brings his 24+ years experience in branding / marketing, along with his small business experience to this new coffee entrepreneurial workshop.  CAFE CON LECHE comes from Hector's desire to help more entrepreneurs enter the coffee space and assist as a start up consultant as needed.

GUEST: JACOB IBARRA

Jacob is the founder and managing director of Tenfold Coffee, located in the Houston Heights.  Jacob started Tenfold in 2019 and has quickly become one of the leading roasters / coffee brands in the city.  

​

Jacob's passion is clearly coffee, and in addition to being one of the top roasters in town, Jacob's desire is to spread a positive and unifying coffee culture through his shops, collabs, and consulting.

​

Jacob is a coffee buyer by trade and has spent a number of years traveling the world to build new coffee farm relationships and source beautiful coffee.  â€‹Jacob will join us for our question and answer time at CAFE CON LECHE.
